Jason Williams
F.G.A. D.G.A.

Having joined the family gemstone business in 1988, Jason’s knowledge of the gemstone industry is unparalleled. Finding great satisfaction in sourcing stones for clients, Jason travels far and wide in order to purchase the finest quality-coloured gemstones.

Whilst Jason handles two other businesses within the Williams family group his passion lies within the gemstone industry. Jason spent 10 years as a charity trustee and served as Chairman of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain. Today he is still heavily involved within the sector, attending conferences around the world and guest lecturing for the GIA London, NAJ and Gem-A. It is this ardour and expertise in the field that keeps G.F. Williams & Co. at the cutting edge of the gemstone industry.

Amanda Good
F.G.A. D.G.A

Amanda has over 45 years of experience in the gemstone trade and is a true expert in the art of purchasing gemstones. With a background as a gemmologist and an examiner for the Gemmological Association, Amanda’s knowledge of gemstones is second to none.

Amanda enjoys travelling the globe to source stones and is highly skilled in handling and processing stock. She is a talented teacher and generously passes on her knowledge to the newer members of G.F. Williams as well as giving talks and presentations within the industry.
It is Amanda’s understanding of the industry, love of gemstones and comprehension of the G.F. Williams stock that makes her so adept at helping clients find the stones they need. Over the years she has forged great trading relationships, making her an invaluable part of the team.

Annette Garland
D.G.A

Having worked for G.F. Williams for over 50 years it is Annette’s wealth of practical experience and true passion for her role which has made her such a crucial member of the team. With a great deal of knowledge about the gemstone industry she thrives on the diversity that working for G.F. Williams brings.

Annette is skilled in both gemstone buying and helping ensure a seamless process in the sourcing of gemstones for clients. Annette’s military precision and extensive knowledge of the G.F. Williams gemstone stock means she is always on the ball in knowing the availability of specific gemstones.

Annette also plays an unofficial role of baker, feeding the office with artistic and delicious treats.

Hannah
F.G.A.

Hannah joined us last year, stepping into Iona’s role. For the last few years, as well as completing her FGA, she has been working for jewellers which has enabled her to come to G.F. Williams with a fresh set of eyes within the ever-changing industry.

Her previous focuses have been in managing production and sales. Many of you will meet her as she travels over the county to show off the latest stock. She has a keen interest in how the language and practice of sustainability and ethics is being carried out and portrayed within the jewellery world. Hannah recognises the need for innovation and has not only taken control of the marketing of stock through new photos but also is looking in to how we can make G.F. Williams feel more accessible to a wider audience.

Despite her excessive tiding of the office all enjoy working with her as she has a happy, cheerful nature and look forward to working with her for years to come.

Kitty
F.G.A.

As the newest member to G.F. Williams Kitty brings a fresh new perspective to the team. Kitty has experience working with both contemporary and antique jewellery, which makes her knowledge invaluable when questions of antique jewellery, colour or design arise. Kitty will also take charge of processing larger orders and will likely be one of the friendly voices at the end of the phone, ready to help with any request. Kitty has also previously managed operations, so her ultra-organisation allows her to keep the office running smoothly without hiccup. As Kitty settles into the team, we look forward to how her role will develop and are exited as to what more she will bring to the table.

Iona Wiseman
BA GG

Iona is an integral part of the team managing the marketing and social side of G.F. Williams. Her eye for detail and flair with digital technology produces the beautiful images on all our media. Previously, Iona travelled the country in her iconic Doc Martens, founding new relationships and fostering long-standing ones as Chief of Sales. She has taken a step back from the role to focus on a beautiful new baby boy. She is, however, patiently at hand with her in-depth knowledge of stock and client preferences. She also brings to the table her qualification as a GIA Graduate Gemmologist.

We all now understand fluent Scottish.

Claudia

Claudia is a fundamental part of the G.F. Williams team, handing group accounts on a day-to-day basis. She keeps us all on the top of our game with her exact accounting and organised manner. Claudia brings precision to the team, dotting all the Is and crossing all the Ts with the cheeriest disposition.

Claire Hedley

As the G.F. Williams accounts manager, Claire is an essential part of the team. She is an AAT qualified accounts manager with considerable experience. Claire is responsible for running the G.F. Williams back office accounts and business systems.
